TEDx IIM Calcutta

 

 

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

TEDxIIMCalcutta is an independently organized TEDx event by IIM Calcutta. TEDxIIMCalcutta believes that an idea holds power. If you can’t get your brilliant ideas across, your ideas won’t get you anywhere.

In the spirit of TED conferences held worldwide, we provide a platform for speakers who can change perceptions through their big surprising ideas, narrate novel stories, and compel people to think out of the box.

In the history of TEDxIIMCalcutta, we have hosted talks by prominent speakers like Ankit Jain (Co-Founder, OLA Electric), AS Kiran Kumar (Ex-Chairman, ISRO), Onir(Film maker, National Award Winner), Dia Mirza (Bollywood actress) amongst many.
