Raunak Joshi

Raunak Joshi completed his PhD in Operations Management domain from Indian Institute of Management Calcutta under the guidance of Prof. Sumanta Basu. His dissertation titled “Essays in Retail Operations” analyzes the trade-offs encountered by the retailers in selling products that are difficult to verify online through both online and offline channels in a competitive market. In addition to retail, his research interests lie in the healthcare supply chain and revenue management of digital goods. His works have been published in journals like Decision Sciences Journal, International Journal of Production Economics, and International Journal of Production Research. He has presentedhis works at several reputed conferences, such as the INFORMS Revenue Management and Pricing Conference, INFORMS Annual Meeting, POMS Annual Conference, and DSI Annual Conference. He also reviews papers for journals like the Journal of Organization Computing and Electronic Commerce. Prior to his PhD, he completed his bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from Jadavpur University. After completing his PhD, he joined Jindal Global Business School as an Assistant Professor.
