Arqum did his dissertation titled, ‘Perspectives on supply chain coordination through vendor managed inventory’ under Prof. Ashis K. Chatterjee, examining the role that various kinds of channel structures and contracts can play in ensuring optimal outcomes throughout the value chain. His research interests include behavioral operations management, supply chain management, technology management, marketing-operations interface, operations strategy etc. Prior to joining IIMC, Arqum worked in a diverse set of industries including IT, energy and pharmaceuticals. He did his PGDM from IMT Ghaziabad and B. Tech. from Aligarh Muslim University.
