Shiksha is an SIG of IIM Calcutta in the education development sector aimed at improving the standard of education of underprivileged students and communities in and around the IIM Calcutta campus. Shiksha enables the students of IIMC to understand the perspectives of different communities, enable fundamental teaching practices, and provide mentoring support. Shiksha focuses on understanding the needs of a diverse community & imbibe the value of service in students.
