PGDBA recognizes the importance of practicing the art for a well-rounded learning experience. The students go through a 6-month internship in the 4th semester as part of the course curriculum. The main objective of the internship is to facilitate students to apply the theories they learned from the course and thereby, get a hands-on experience. During this semester/internship, students work on a project which is evaluated by all the three institutes besides the respective companies.
The internship allows the students understand the practices and gain first-hand experience of the industry they intern in while applying the com to find the right fit. The companies evaluate the students on their performance and make pre-placement offers. The number of companies showing interest in hiring from the program has been rising as witnessed by the high conversion rates from internship to final placements.
The process shows participation from diverse sectors including BFSI, consulting, healthcare, FMCG, e-commerce and telecommunication. The selection procedure typically involves a preliminary shortlisting followed by personal interviews (Technical and/or HR).
