Pre-qualification Criteria of Security Agencies for Providing Security Services at Indian Institute of Management Calcutta
IIM CALCUTTA invites applications from intending security agencies in the prescribed format for pre-qualification of agencies to carry out Security, Fire & Safety Services at IIMC Campus, Joka, Kolkata. IIMC will short-list the agencies for the purpose of participation for the above Services. Required criteria for such short-listing are furnished below:
- Annual turnover for the similar nature of business (security services) should not be less than Rs.1 (One) crore in average in the last three consecutive financial years.
- Should have proper trade and professional license and a business establishment in Kolkata.
- Should have minimum 100 (One Hundred) regular employees Ex-servicemen (EXM) under direct pay roll.
- Should have experience and credentials for similar nature of work i.e. security services and Fire & safety providing appropriate security & safety coverage at IIMC Campus.
- Operational experience for similar nature of work not less than 05 (Five) years in India (directly or through subsidiary).
- The agency must have P.F. & E.S.I registration (Provide Copies of the same).
- The agency should be able to deploy Ex-servicemen at IIMC Joka, Kolkata. The maximum age limit for Assistant Security Officer and Security Supervisors is 55 (fifty Five) years and for Security Guards it is 50 (Fifty) years on joining. The onus of replacing the security personnel from time to time above the prescribed age limit 60 (Sixty) years will be of the agency.
Intending agencies equipped with eligibility criteria as mentioned above are requested to furnish their details regarding their Company profile, Organization & manpower chart, Date of Incorporation, Years of experience, Operational plan, Credentials, Annual turn over details etc. As indicated in the application format given in the web site. The application forms can be down loaded from IIM website www.iimcal.ac.in (Tenders and Notices column) or may be collected from Purchase Section, IIMC.
The application formats duly completed in all respects giving the aforesaid information as per the Application Form & Schedules given below, is required to be submitted in a sealed cover super-scribing in the top left hand corner of the cover as "EOI - Application for Pre-qualification of tender for providing Security and Fire & Safety Services at IIMC Campus at Joka, Kolkata" addressed to Senior Administrative Officer (Purchase) IIMC, Joka, Kolkata 700104. Tel No. 24678300-05, Extension- 202 and to be submitted at the above address on or before December 30, 2015 by 2.00 p.m.
Method of award of work:
Tender would be invited from the prequalified agencies, after short-listing.
Instructions to applicants:
- Each page of the application shall be signed and sealed by a person having necessary authority to do so.
- If the space in the format is insufficient for furnishing full details, such information may be given in separate sheets.
- Applicants are required to furnish information against each item of the application. In case, certain item is not applicable, please write NA. Application containing incorrect and or inadequate information is liable to be rejected. For any further clarification, the applicant may contact Sr. Administrative Officer (Purchase), IIMC, Phone no. 24678300-05, Extn. 202.
In case of any information furnished by the applicant is found to be incorrect at a later stage, the agency is liable to be debarred from tendering / taking up any future work in the IIMC. IIM Calcutta reserves the right to verify the particulars furnished by the applicant independently, and also reserves the right to reject any or all applications without assigning any reason thereof.
The short-listed agencies will be intimated by e-mail/ post for purchase of tender documents accordingly. IIM Calcutta is no way responsible for non-receipt of intimation given through the above-mentioned method.
