Short Bio of the Speakers
Durairaj Maheswaran is Paganelli Bull Professor of Marketing and International Business at New York University Stern School of Business. His area of expertise includes cross-cultural consumer behavior, international marketing, and attitude change. Professor Durairaj Maheswaran received his Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from the University of Madras, India, his MBA from the IIM Calcutta, India, and his Ph.D. in marketing from Northwestern University. | |||
Sankaran Venkataraman is the MasterCard Professor of Business Administration and Senior Associate Dean for faculty and research at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. He is an internationally renowned scholar and educator in the field of entrepreneurship. Professor Sankaran Venkataraman received his M.A. from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, his MBA from IIM Calcutta, and his Ph.D., from University of Minnesota. | |||
Anindya Ghose is the Heinz Riehl Chair Professor of Business at New York University's Stern School of Business where he holds a joint appointment in the IOMS and Marketing departments. He is a Leonard Stern Faculty Scholar. His expertise in the economic consequences of the Internet on industries and markets transformed by its shared technology infrastructure. Professor Anindya Ghose received his B. Tech. from Regional Engineering College, Jalandhar, MBA from the IIM Calcutta, and his MS and Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon University. | |||
Ananth Raman is the UPS Foundation Professor of Business Logistics at Harvard Business School. He is co-director of the Consortium for Operational Excellence in Retailing. He was inducted as a Fellow of the Production and Operations Management Society (POMS) in 2013. His expertise is in operations and supply chain management. Professor Ananth Raman received his B. Tech from IIT Madras, his MBA from IIM Calcutta, and his Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania. |
