Neha Chaudhuri
Neha Chaudhuri completed her PhD from Indian Institute of Management Calcutta in the area of Management Information Systems. Her dissertation titled “Fake News is Real: A Multimodal Analysis of Actors and Social Platforms" analyses the various factors that lead to higher vulnerability of social media users to fake news and the ways in which they react to it. She holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science and Engineering, and a Masters in Technology in Information Technology. Her research interests are in the areas of online misinformation, online consumer behavior and machine learning.
Her papers have appeared (or are forthcoming) in journals like Information & Management, European Journal of Information Systems and Decision Support Systems. Her papers have been accepted for presentation at various conferences including International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS), Hawaiian International Conference on System Sciences (HICSS), Conference on Digital Economy (CODE) etc.. Neha regularly reviews articles for journals like Information & Management, Decision Support Systems, as well as for conferences including ICIS, PACIS, HICSS etc.
