Intaglio 2015, the annual international Business School summit was hosted by IIM Calcutta from 9th -11th January, 2015. Intaglio 2015 revolved around its theme "India in Focus" and witnessed a footfall of 20,000 participants from more than 60 countries and 40 International B-schools. Tata Social Enterprise Challenge 2015
13th -17th January, 2015
TATA Social Enterprise Challenge (TSEC) is a joint initiative by the TATA group and IIM Calcutta to find the most promising social enterprises in the country. An overwhelming 205 Impact Proposals were received this year, out of which, the top 20 teams got the golden opportunity to receive off-campus mentoring and 5-day on-campus mentoring and workshops at IIM Calcutta from 13th January 2015 to 17th January 2015, culminating in 3 teams receiving the TSEC awards. PGP admissions and Mentorship Programme

The Mentorship Programme was introduced three years ago by the External Relations Cell of IIMC for IIM Calcutta call-getters. The current mentorship program is on full swing to aid prospective candidates in making an informed decision. Read more here :

- IIMC XLRI Meet - IIMC XL Sport meet will take place at IIM Calcutta on 24th and 25th of January, 2015. Nineteen events are scheduled to take place over two days.
- Carpe Diem, 2015 - IIM Calcutta's International cultural festival will take place from 30th Jan - 1st Feb 2015. The theme for this year's cultural festival is, "Nostalgia of 90s". Live Performance by rockstar, Mohit Chauhan will be taking place on the star night of Carpe Diem, 2015.

- i2i - Entrepreneurship Cell, IIM Calcutta will be organizing i2i (Ideas to Implementation) on 6th and 8th of February, 2015. This will be a meeting ground for the budding entrepreneurs of the country to showcase, communicate and obtain support for nurturing successful business ideas and transforming them into reality.
- E-summit: Along with i2i, this year we have planned to host an E Summit on 7th of February, 2015. This event will bring together students, alumni, established entrepreneurs and academia to foster the spirit of entrepreneurship.
- IIM Calcutta Premiere League - The cricketing league, modeled on IPL featuring 8 teams of students and faculty will be played in 2 phases from 2nd to 27th Feb. Read more here: http://www.facebook.com/iimcpl

IIM Calcutta to mentor IIM Odisha

The faculty members from older IIMs are supposed to travel to the new IIMs, conduct classes there and fly back to their home institutes. The mentor institutes have been asked to share faculty members with the new IIMs till the new ones are self-sufficient. As per recent developments, IIM Calcutta will be handholding IIM Odisha. Vodafone names IIMC alumnus Sunil Sood as India CEO
