The 50th Convocation Ceremony at IIM Calcutta was a heart-warming occasion! As the graduating students took a step towards their exciting new life, their parents beamed with smiles on their faces and pride in the hearts.

International Conference on Managing Critical Resources: Food, Energy and Water held successfully

Centre for Development and Environment Policy (CDEP) of IIM Calcutta organized an International Conference during April 9-11, 2015 at IIMC. The conference was inaugurated by the Director of IIM Calcutta and the Keynote address on Third Industrial Revolution: Role of New renewables in India was delivered by Prof. Ramaprasad Sengupta, Professor Emeritus of Economics, Centre for Economic Studies & Planning, School of Social Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University. This was followed by the valedictory address on Economic Growth Versus Climate Balancing: Some Reflections on the Sustainable Management of Forest Resources in India which was given by Prof. Sarmila Banerjee, Rajiv Gandhi Professor of Sustainable Development, Calcutta University.

- IIM Calcutta Conclave 2015: Every year, city meets are organized to welcome the incoming batch of the institute. This year the city-meets are scheduled to be held on 26th April, in six cities across India. Conclave is a wonderful opportunity for the first years to know more about the institute through interactive discussions with their seniors.
