TSEC – Grand Finale on 14th January 2017

The grand finale of the fifth edition of the programme held on January 14, 2017, at the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM-C), saw Pentavalent Biosciences from Bangalore (Winner), Arogya Medtech from Kolkata (1st Runner-up), and Bombay Hemp Company (BOHECO) from Mumbai (2nd Runner-up), emerge as the winning ventures, receiving prize money of Rs. 2.5 lakh, Rs. 2 lakh and Rs. 1.5 lakh, respectively.

Thinking Social Roundtable on Affordable and Clean Energy

IIM Calcutta Innovation Park (IIMCIP) in association with Tata Group organised a Roundtable on 12 January 2017 at Kolkata on the theme “Affordable and Clean Energy”. The interactive session brought together the key stakeholders in the social entrepreneurship ecosystem on a common platform and exchange ideas, highlight key issues & challenges, identifying opportunities and draw out best practices for the industry to emulate. The discussion centred on affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy.
