FAREWELL

IIM Calcutta bid farewell to its 54th Batch in a grand fashion. For the first time, a full-fledged farewell ceremony was organised and executed by the Student Council. The event took place in the auditorium which was beautifully decorated and lit up. The event began by a flash mob organised by the first years. This was followed by a performance of BaroC. This was followed by the award ceremony were a number of quirky and fun awards tailored to the unique traits of our campus were given away. Nominations were put up by the student body beforehand and the winners were chosen by method of voting. Food and light snacks was served for everyone. Overall, it was a gala event which would hold a special place in the hearts of both the 54th and the 55th Batch.
PGDBA Placements

The Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Business Analytics Programme is a programme which is offered by 3 prestigious institutes – Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, Indian Statistical Institute and the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. It is a two year full-time residential programme offered by the three institutes. This is the top ranked programme in the country and it is ranked 14th worldwide amongst full-time business analytics courses by the QS Rankings.

IIMCCRC organized 7th Case Method Workshop

IIMC Case Research Center (IIMCCRC) hosted the 7th Case Method Workshop at the IIM Calcutta campus on March 29-30, 2019. The workshop brought together academicians, practitioners and doctoral students from different areas of management. The participants represented reputed organizations and many had decades of industrial experience. Prof. Anju Seth, Director of IIMC inaugurated the workshop and addressed the audience. She was followed by Prof. Bodhibrata Nag, Dean (Academic) and Prof. Indranil Bose, Coordinator of IIMCCRC who spoke about the importance of the case method.
