Getting an admit to the doctoral programme at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta was one of the happiest moments of my life. Perhaps my only dream thereafter was to somehow complete the doctoral programme, but God has been really kind to me to have blessed me with much more than I ever wanted. IIM Calcutta is one place I cannot thank enough. The journey of a little less than six years spent at the campus transformed my thought process to bring out the best in me and above all developed me as an individual. A free and conducive environment for research at the institute helped me to pursue my own research agenda that I was passionate about. An effective and one-of-a-kind support system at IIM Calcutta, which included guidance by faculty members, mentoring by seniors, help by the programme representatives, and support by staff members, made my journey truly enriching and fulfilling.

While I am settling in my new role at IIM Bangalore, I often miss my alma mater. I am carrying with me the fond memories spent at the campus as well as the learning I have had. I am sure they will come handy in my new role.
